Sci-Fi Starlet Saturday: Victoria Pratt

Choosing to feature Victoria Pratt on Sci-Fi Starlet Saturday was really a no brainer. With the body of a kickboxing fitness model and the talent of a seasoned sci-fi actress, Victoria Pratt is both a sex symbol and a staple in sci-fi productions.

After graduating from York University with a degree in kinesiology, Victoria Pratt went on to become one of the most recognizable fitness models in the world, appearing on the cover of Oxygen and Musclemag multiple times. The publisher of Musclemag encouraged her to pursue acting, and in 1997 Victoria landed a recurring role on the television series Once a Thief.
Victoria Pratt’s next role as the Queen of the Amazons on Xena Warrior Princess got her noticed in Hollywood, and between 2000 and 2004 she starred in two sci-fi television series: Cleopatra 2525 and Mutant X. She later starred opposite Taye Diggs in the short lived series Day Break.

Victoria Pratt has also worked in science fiction and horror films, including Brotherhood of Blood, House of the Dead 2, and Sci-Fi Channel original picture Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep. Most recently, she starred in a made-for-TV version of Jules Verne’s science fiction classic, A Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Note: if you’re searching for more info on her, she is sometimes billed as Vicky Pratt.

Great match featuring plenty of hardcore action. Missy Hyatt and Francine are at ringside for the Sandman And Pitbull#2 respectively. A scantily clad Stevie Richards along with Blue Meanie and the Meanie Babe are with Raven.
Part I
Part II
Raven was just released from TNA so let’s hope the WWE has enough sense to bring him into the new ECW brand.

Exclusive Interview with Indy Wrestler Tara Bush

Model and wrestler Tara Bush is a reader favorite here at the ECW on Sci-Fi Blog. She was one of our first fantasy draft picks for the new ECW program, and we’ve kept up with her as she’s developed her career in wrestling, glamour modeling, and fetish work.
Tara Bush has carved out a nice little chunk of the Internet for herself, appearing on dozens of sites dedicated to tickling, feet, balloon popping, giantess fetish, and of course, wrestling.
We knew Tara was tough and gorgeous, but what we didn’t know was how sweet and self-effacing the former Hardcore Schoolgirl could be. Tara spent some time recently answering these questions so you could get to know her a little better. Read on to check out her thoughts on fetish modeling, nudity, and wrestling.
To our readers, you’re most recognizable as “The Hardcore Schoolgirl” from WEW. What other wrestling work have you done since leaving WEW?
I actually remain very active on the circuit … I wrestle all the time. My recent work includes, but is not limited to:
Does it feel weird to see someone else (Tatianna) using the Hardcore Schoolgirl gimmick in WEW?
I definitively believe that the original is all that there is….
Are you still friendly with any of the WEW talent, or have you pretty much closed that chapter of your life?
I love some of the girls to death … first thoughts … Bobcat and Tai will remain close to me forever … WEW was definitely a stepping stone in my life and since I have moved on … I can always look back and say that I treasure those days, but needed to move on to bigger and better things.
A lot of the women of WEW have appeared on various WWE and TNA brands (Francine Fournier, Shelly Martinez, Alexis Laree, Jazz, Angel Williams, ODB, So Cal Val, Talia Madison). Have you considered auditioning for the WWE Diva Search or trying to get a developmental contract?
I am now and always will be a product of my own doing … I will not contract with anyone. I do have nothing but respect for all my girls that do … it’s just not for me!
On to the burning question in many people’s minds: why did you decide to not accept nude or topless gigs and do you think it’s helped or hurt your career? Is there a lot of pressure to do nude work?
I strongly believe that being nude/topless is something that remains dear to the special person I decide to share my life with … and that person ONLY!
Is there any hope for your fans who’d like to see Tara Bush in the buff?
Unfortunately … there will be no upcoming nudity … Sorry Boys!!!!
Which do you prefer: modeling or wrestling? Why?
I don’t think I could ever choose … I love both and sincerely appreciate both aspects of my career for significantly different reasons. I would not be the person that I am today if either of them were stripped from my life.
I might be naive, but I don’t think I ever heard of balloon or bubblegum fetishes until I saw you mention them on sexymodeltara.com. How did you get into fetish modeling and creating balloon fetish custom DVDs?
I am a firm believer in creating an environment where people can be completely comfortable. I am so thankful that I was presented with a chance to be a part of the balloon fetish community. Being a person that others trust enough to reveal their most intimate thoughts and desires to really holds a special place in my heart. The balloon fetish fans I have are amazing. They are so nice and considerate and friendly. And, to be honest, what’s not to like about being turned loose in a set full of balloons? I can be nice … or bad. LOL

Has there ever been a request for a custom video that you turned down because it was just too bizarre?
Have you ever had a request that seemed too bizarre? Haven’t we all. I think everything I do needs to fall into my own comfort zone. Would you want me to make a custom video for you and have it look awkward simply because I was not comfortable with the idea of the content I was creating? I only want to release footage that is truly a work of art that I both believe in and can be proud of. I put a lot of thought and feeling into my productions. Especially my wrestling and balloon customs. If I don’t truly enjoy what I do my fans can pick up on it.
What would you like to do, both personally and professionally, that you haven’t done yet?
I would love to create an environment for myself where I can grow further intellectually. I just need to be challenged on a daily basis. When I run out of questions … I ultimately run out of fire … which is what drives my ambition.
What are you up to these days? Anything you’d like to promote or plug?
I am just busy being me. I wouldn’t say I’d want to promote/plug anything. I will leave a list of my current sites for anyone who may desire to know about them.

How about a special treat for the readers of the ECW on Sci-Fi Blog, maybe a never-before-seen picture of Tara Bush to give everyone a sneak peak of what they’ll see on your pay site?
Ed. note: This isn’t a never-before-seen picture, but Tara personally chose this one to share with readers of EoS.
Thanks again for the interview, Tara!

New Missy Hyatt Shoot Interview
Kayfabe Commentaries has a new Missy Hyatt shoot interview out on DVD, and it will definitely give you insight into why she was dubbed, “The Walking Riot Missy Hyatt” (and it wasn’t just because it rhymed.)
Since Missy was involved in so many major wrestling promotions, including WWF, WCW, and ECW, she is uniquely qualified to shoot on the male wrestlers and their … ahem … male endowments. Here’s a sneak peek (warning: she uses adult language):
Autographed shoot DVDs are available from Missy Hyatt’s online store, and she has two more interview previews at that link. Part two is about which women wrestlers have fake boobs, and part three, well, I’m not even sure what she’s talking about. Just check ‘em out.

Sci-Fi Starlet Saturday: Melissa George

Melissa George has one of those faces - one of those “where do I know her from?” faces. And if you’re a sci-fi and horror fan, you may know her from more places than you think.
After some success with television roles in her native Australia, Melissa George moved to Los Angeles. That’s where she landed the recurring role of cold-blooded double agent Lauren Reed on Alias in 2003. Although she had acted in several small roles in American productions prior to her 23 episode stint on Alias, Melissa George’s portrayal of Lauren Reed was really her breakthrough role.
In 2004, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films recognized Melissa George’s performance on Alias with the Cinescape Genre Face of the Future Award.

Melissa George has also found success in the horror genre, with roles in The Amityville Horror, Turistas, and of course, 30 Days of Night (out on DVD on February 26, 2008). Melissa George is also in final negotiations for the starring role in The Triangle, Christopher Smith’s upcoming horror thriller set in the Bermuda Triangle.
Melissa George started out as a model back in Australia, and before making her move to the United States, George posed for Australian Playboy and Black + White. Both shoots included some nudity.
There’s a huge gallery of Melissa George photos on the official Melissa George Web site. For more on Melissa George, check out:
