Coinciding with the launch of her official membership site, former WWE diva and TNA Knockout Shelly Martinez is releasing a DVD of interviews, video montages, and behind the scenes footage, plus video of two Pin-Up Pro Wrestling catfights. The DVD, called Shelly Martinez EXPOSED Volume I, is available for the pre-order price of $25.95 ($22.95 for limited access members and $18.95 for full access members.) Here’s the trailer:

In case you haven’t guessed, the mysterious therapist who debuted on TNA iMPACT! this week is none other than WWE and ECW alum Stevie Richards.  So far we’ve only seen the back of Dr. Stevie’s head as he counseled his neurotic patient Abyss.  Here’s the YouTube clip:

TNA writers just love that gimmick of “concealing” a wrestler’s identity like they did with Shelly Martinez when she first appeared as the mystery member of LAX.  Let’s hope they don’t drag it out with Dr. Stevie the way they have with Raisha Saeed and the whole burqa gimmick.

Stevie (aka Michael Manna) is a stand up guy who went out of his way to drop us a few friendly emails when we linked to his T4 Show project, so we’d like to wish him the best with his new TNA gig.

The video is a little grainy but this old Ohio Valley Wrestling match between Shelly “I don’t need you TNA!” Martinez and WWE uber-Diva Beth Phoenix is worth watching. “New” ECW alumni Trinity is the referee who you’ll be shocked to see ends up fighting one of the wrestlers after the match is over. I’ll bet you didn’t see that coming!

After seeing this match I wondered why Martinez isn’t still wrestling. Then I saw this video on her MySpace and it all fell into place:

It’s too bad; Martinez was an underrated but solid performer who could have been the 21st century Missy Hyatt which there’s an opening for since Hyatt has decided to be this century’s Michael Jackson. But she’s been burning bridges while toking up and now we can all look forward to seeing her in a series of ever more degrading direct to video movies culminating with some sort of fetish porn.
