ECW’s Interim GM Tiffany Nominated for “World’s Sexiest” Award

Posted in ECW Alumni, WWE divas, Women of ECW on May 30th, 2009

Is acting ECW General Manager Tiffany (aka Taryn Terrell) the world’s sexiest woman?

Tiffany aka Taryn Terrell

Maybe not, but she has been nominated for the dubious honor of World’s Sexiest Vegetarian.  She’s in good company in this PETA sponsored competition, joined by the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Alyssa Milano, and Pamela Anderson.

Tiffany wrote on WWE Universe that she went vegan because:

I am speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. I am a strong proponent for the humane treatment of animals and am making my stand known by not ingesting any animal products whatsoever.

She saw the meat-free light after watching a video by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA.)  Does anyone have the heart to break it to her that PETA is an organization that is notorious for killing animals that could otherwise be adopted and has been caught dumping their bodies in trash bins.

Notably absent from the list of “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” nominees are former ECW divas Shelly Martinez (Ariel) and Lena Yada, both of whom have been known to pass anti-KFC propaganda around on MySpace.

With a Name Like Matt Striker, There Had To Be Nude Pics

Matt Striker

And now a little something for the ladies, courtesy of a WWE superstar with one of the porniest names in the biz: Matt Striker. Naked photos, ostensibly of ECW color commentator Matt Striker from his developmental days, recently surfaced on an online forum and began bouncing around the blogosphere.  The pics are mostly, er, below the belt self-portraits.

Here’s the 100 percent not safe for work link.

What do you think?  Is it Striker? Are they Photoshopped?  Do you need a generous spray of Lysol in the face to make your eyes feel clean again or are you printing the pics for bathroom reading material?  Look, I’m just asking questions.

Aren’t we all now? Shelly Martinez has made the transition from Wrestler to Internet Model (where it all began) with the launch of her new site and she’ s now using the newest and greatest web promotional network there is, Twitter. So now you can be assured that you’re up to date on everything Shelly is doing in her life. And because it’s on Twitter it’s technically not stalking. So follow Funtimeshelly until your heart’s content.

Now that Shelly’s modeling full time will she be replacing our girl Tara Bush as the favorite EOS web model?

Not unless she gets an affiliate program. Until then you’re still number one Tara! Join Sexy Model Tara now!

Also on Twitter North Korea. Yes Really.

Tazz Blasts ECW

Tazz is on Facebook

Just a few weeks after his retirement from WWE, and Tazz is talking smack about Vince McMahon’s revival of ECW:

I hate it. To compare what I held to that MONSTROUS HUNK OF SILVER they have is comical….but hey, at least its consistent what everything else in comparing the original ECW to WWE version of ECW…..there is NO comparison at all. Just change the name to anything but ECW and it will be a pretty cool 60mins. But at times, I guess some must attempt to re-write history in in their own eyes.

Hard to argue with that.  This little outpouring of honesty comes courtesy of his Facebook page where Tazz (or Taz with one “z” as he now prefers to be known) has been answering fan questions.

Old School Thursday: Unholy Alliance vs Kid Kash and Super Crazy

Posted in ECW Alumni, The Show on May 8th, 2009

Well it’s technically Friday but since I roll my lazy blogging ass out of bed sometime in the early afternoon it still feels like Thursday to me. Regardless I’m bringing you the good stuff with this match up which has the Unholy Alliance taking on  Supercrazy and Kid Kash at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Classic fin de sicele ECW that reminds you of how much talent the WWE skipped over when they restarted ECW and turned it into the Smackdown waiting room. Part II has one of the best table spots in history at around 7:01

Part II:
