ECW on Sci-Fi

The Messiah Bleeds for You

Posted in Fantasy Draft, Indy Wrestling Scene on April 8th, 2007

William “The Messiah” Welch was a stand out indy star with great things ahead of him in the business, but in the past couple of years he’s wrestled infrequently at best. The Messiah is best known for his work in the now defunct XPW run by degenerate pervert Rob Black and the controversy that followed him but his work in the NWA and Combat Zone Wrestling are forever ingrained in the minds of hardcore wrestling fans as some of the finest work ever done on the independent circuit.

There are plenty of places on the net to find clips of Welch however, and ‘tuber BillyMessiah has several good movies including this tribute which highlights the talent, determination and fortitude Welch displayed in the pursuit of his dream:

Should The Messiah wrestle a full time schedule again, I’m sure he’d be a worthy addition to the ECW roster.

Tara Bush is So Hot, Her Feet Have MySpace Friends

Posted in Fantasy Draft on February 5th, 2007

Tara BushAs far as we know, pro wrestler Tara Bush hasn’t been making appearances on the indy circuit recently. But that doesn’t mean she’s lost her place in the ECW on Sci-Fi fantasy draft. We still think the Hardcore Schoolgirl is like a hot, female Sandman.

Although Tara’s wrestling career has been quiet lately, her fans haven’t forgotten her. Tara has a few thousand friends on her main MySpace profile, and almost 150 friends on the profile dedicated to her feet.

That’s right, Tara Bush’s feet have more MySpace friends than most people have in real life. Granted Tara’s feet have starred in more videos than most people’s, but it’s still pretty impressive.

You can check out what’s Tara’s up to on the official Tara Bush Web site. You’ll find tons of exclusive videos and photos, including modeling galleries, wrestling matches, and samples of her balloon, bubblegum, and foot fetish work. There’s pretty much something for everyone.

Kayla Sparks Gets Better Every Match!

Posted in Fantasy Draft on January 1st, 2007

Adorable Indy wrestler Kayla Sparks continues to work steadily and she’s getting better with each performance. She’s got a couple of shows coming up, On February 10th she’ll be at the SSCW show in Clifton NJ and she’ll then wrestle for Indygurlz the very next day in Boonton. Both in Jersey, the Motherland, my old stomping grounds, maybe I’ll stop by.

You should too, because you’ll see action like this:

You’ll also see Blue Meanie at the Stars SSCW show, which will be an added bonus.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, this kid’s an up and comer who I’d love to see in WWE one day. And if I say it enough times maybe she’ll link to me one day.

New Kayla Sparks Video!

Posted in Fantasy Draft on November 30th, 2006

Kayla’s one of the bright spots on the indy scene, and I’m 100% sure she’ll be in a WWE promotion in the next five years. She’s got a new video of a match she wrestled this summer on YouTube, and if you want to catch her live she post her schedule at the world’s most adorable website.

Her next show’s for Star’s & Stripes Championship Wrestling on February 10th, in Clifton N.J. so I may go to check it out.

And while I’m there I could see this guy, who’s now on the Roster for S.S.C.W., though why he’s not in ECW I don’t know.

Enjoy the show:

Santorum smackdown!

Posted in Fantasy Draft, World Wide Weird on October 26th, 2006

I was never a big Rick Santorum supporter, which doesn’t bother Rick since I don’t live in his voting district, but lately I’ve had to tip my hat to the guy because he has really pulled out the stops. First he gives nerds everywhere half a husky with what may be the first ever attempt to explain U.S. foreign policy with a L.O.T.R. reference.

Now he goes for the ‘rassler fan vote in his new ad. Like I said, hard to support his pride in joining up with Clinton for a P.M.R.C style censor fest on video games, but you have to give it up for his teams creativity, and his willingness to embarrass himself for my entertainment. Behold the greatest political ad in history:

Tolkien, ‘rasslin if he’s a Tara Bush fan we’ll be B.F.F., or at least we’ll hang out tommorow at Chiller.

Hail Santorum!
