Tara Bush showing off her feet

We haven’t updated you lately on indy wrestler and ECW fantasy draft pick Tara Bush. Since we interviewed Tara in February, she’s been keeping busy with wrestling and fetish modeling. Here she is in a shot taken for the female wrestling site SleeperKidsWorld.com:

Most recently, Tara announced her brand new MySpace profile - BalloonsByTara - devoted to her balloon, beach ball, inflatables, and bubblegum fetish custom video and photo modeling. Tara will also be appearing at FetishCon 2008 in Tampa from August 14th - 18th, and she’ll be available for shoots throughout that time. She’ll be traveling with fellow fetish model Morgan Lei aka Princess Sweet Sugar Feet, who is also available for shoots (with or without Tara.)

Autographed ECW Arena Sign on eBay

Posted in ECW Alumni, Indy Wrestling Scene, World Wide Weird on July 8th, 2008

If you’re a fan of old school ECW, this is a pretty freakin’ cool piece of memorabilia: a giant sign that hung at the original home of ECW, the ECW Arena in South Philly. The sign is autographed by a bunch of ECW wrestlers, including The Blue Meanie, Sabu, 2 Cold Scorpio, Tammy Sytch, Axl Rotten, and Francine Fournier.

Of course, you’d have to be a huge fan of ECW or a serious collector to pick up this piece of wrestling history - the eBay “Buy It Now” price is $20,000. Check out the auction on eBay. I can’t wait to see how much it sells for.

The Blue Meanie & Balls Mahoney are Class Acts

Posted in ECW Alumni, Indy Wrestling Scene on May 4th, 2008

I know our readers mostly prefer to check out diva cleavage and nip slips, but once in a while we like to give props to the good guys in the wrestling business. Brian Heffron (The Blue Meanie) and Jonathan Rechner (Balls Mahoney) are two of those guys.

ECW / WWE alum The Blue Meanie received the terrible news last week that his close friend Chris Poulos, aka Kriss Vicious, passed away suddenly on April 26th. Chris was a constant fixture in the Philly wrestling scene for years and leaves behind a teen daughter named Christina. You can send your condolences to Meanie via his MySpace profile.

The Blue Meanie and his girlfriend Tracy went all out in putting together a big benefit show to help out Chris’ family. The Blue Meanie made a gig flyer that he promoted the hell out of, and Tracy made armbands to sell at the benefit.

Even if you didn’t make it to the benfit, donations are still being accepted at:

The Christina Poulos Fund
415 Earlington Road
Havertown, PA 19083

The Blue Meanie is a truly classy guy for all he’s done to honor his friend and help out Chris Poulos’ daughter. Everyone who knew and loved Chris Poulos has our deepest sympathy.

Another class act is Balls Mahoney, the ECW original who was recently released by WWE. Balls filled in for The Blue Meanie at the NWS show in Edison, NJ on May 2nd on what must have been very short notice, enabling The Blue Meanie to attend the benefit for his friend.

New Interview with Tammy “Sunny” Sytch

Tammy Lynn Sytch, aka Sunny

SLAM! Wrestling has a new interview with ECW and WWE alum Tammy “Sunny” Sytch: Outlook Sunny for Tammy Sytch. All blame for the bad pun goes to SLAM!, but the article is a decent read and includes details on her depression following Chris Candido’s death, her subsequent battle with weight, and her current love life.

Now that Tammy Sytch is back in “Sunny shape,” she’s getting booked constantly. According to her official web site, some of Tammy’s upcoming appearances include:

  • March 2, 2008: PWA Wrestling in Edmonton, Alberta
  • March 8, 2008: GLCW, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (with ECW alums Mick Foley, Joey Mercury, and Al Snow)
  • March 16, 2008: APW Wrestling, Martinsburg, West Virginia

Tammy has a bunch of other bookings coming up - you can keep up with her on her Web site or MySpace profile. And true Tammy Sytch fans will also want to check out her eBay store and Amazon wishlist.
