This is my obligatory post to let you guys know that WWE.com released new studio photos of both remaining ECW divas this week. Lena Yada appears in a strapless black dress in 8 new pics in this set called “Lady in Black”:

and Tiffany is rocking some major cleavage (as usual) in an 8 photo set called “All Dressed”:

I’m sure most of you would prefer it if the set were called “Not at All Dressed.”

If you don’t keep up with the weekly ECW on Sci-Fi show, which admittedly, is sometimes painful to keep up with, you might not know who Tiffany is. The busty blonde ECW diva (former Playboy model Taryn Terrell) debuted in June 2008 and gets about as much air time as any other ECW diva in recent months, which is to say, almost none.

Tiffany, finally got a WWE.com profile in August. While it might not mean much in terms of her popularity with the company or fans, it’s nice to see her get a little attention today with the release of a new set of studio photos.

The photo shoot is entitled “Having Fun” and includes eight pics of Tiffany in a low-cut pink mini-dress. The whole set is available on WWE.com.

Poor Lena Yada. She and Tiffany are the only divas left on the stepchild ECW brand, and they get almost no face time on the televised program each week.

But that doesn’t mean that WWE management have forgotten the lovely Lena. During the last few days, she’s gotten a huge push on WWE.com.

More than 35 new photos of Lena Yada and were published as part of the Summer Skin series. The Summer Skin feature also included a biographical article, 2 videos of the ECW diva, and How to Date a Diva, a short feature on Lena’s turn-ons and turn-offs.

WWE.com also covered Lena’s participation in the 2008 Los Angeles Underwear Affair, a 10K run/5K walk to raise money and awareness for cancers below the waist. Here’s Lena in her Supergirl BVDs and red fishnet stockings:

So why is Lena Yada getting an online push? I’d like to think that Joey Styles is a little nostalgic for ECW, and in his role as Director of Digital Media Content, he’s exerting his influence to see that the ladies of the brand get their moment in the spotlight. Er … I’d like to think that, but I’m sure it’s just because she’s super photogenic and extremely flexible. Now let’s see some of that flexibility in the ring!

As ECW viewers know, Playboy model Taryn Terrell debuted on ECW in June as Tiffany, personal assistant to General Manager Teddy Long. But even though there are only two current ECW divas, Tiffany and Lena Yada, WWE.com somehow managed to overlook the latest addition.

Until now.

This week WWE.com finally unveiled an online profile for Tiffany. As noted elsewhere, Tiffany’s profile is seriously bare bones at this point, with just a short bio and a few pictures. But at least the WWE powers that be are finally recognizing Tiffany’s existence.

Oh, and just in case you guys were wondering, she’s taken. By this guy:

Mickie James announced Monday night that Kelly Kelly is now the newest Raw diva. No draft, no fanfare, no explanation: she’s just a Raw diva now.

Why do they even bother with the yearly WWE draft? I mean, I know it creates buzz and the occasional controversy, but what’s really the point if the writers are going to shuffle the rosters any time they want?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I think it’s a well-deserved move, and a necessary one if WWE management intends to give Kelly Kelly her much rumored push. It also paves the way for Barbie Blank to become the next WWE star to pose for Playboy in 2009.

The ECW roster is looking a little diva-light now that Kelly and Layla have moved on from the third-tier brand. Are we looking at a push for Lena Yada or Tiffany, an opportunity for a new diva to step into the spotlight, or could we see a more seasoned diva move to ECW to help the Tuesday night ratings?
