About 90% of the traffic coming in yesterday were people wanting to see the nude photos of Shelly Martinez, otherwise know as ECW’s Ariel. It seems like pictures of Shelly sans clothing are becoming quite the hot property on the Internet, and forums are full of fans asking where they can get more risqué shots of Shelly.

The answer is everywhere.

Shelly’s part of the smart new breed of wrestling women who put together an Internet presence even before trying out for the big leagues. It’s safe to assume actually that many people looking for sexy Shelly pics have probably already seen them before she was famous, and just don’t realize it was her. From Archie’s Ice Cream to West Coast Chopper’s Shelly developed an extensive on-line portfolio and generated that all-important buzz that gets models noticed by the right people.

These days, women have to prove they cannot only perform but can produce, as in revenue. The WWE isn’t just about selling tickets, but tee shirts, DVD’s and memorabilia. The smart aspiring divas know this and spend their time marketing themselves, mostly through modeling but also by working harder in the Indy scene them woman prior to them have. That’s one of the reasons newer divas can wrestle better matches than female wrestlers of old, the new breed has to really work a match to be remembered, so that fans spread the word on the web about the hot new up and comer.
