ECW on Sci-Fi

Barbie Blank: Extreme Vixen, Feminist Icon

Barbie Blank aka Kelly KellyCheck out this blog post from a guy who goes by the handle The Zero Boss. He caught my attention today due to his holier-than-thou attitude toward fans of professional wrestling and the WWE divas.

He wonders why you, the fans of ECW and the WWE, “lap this shit up like pigs at a trough.” In particular, he seems to have a problem with “blood and body-baring” and the “puke-ariffic” ECW plots. And the “tits of ring candy such as Barbie Blank” and her on-screen relationship with Mike Knox send The Zero Boss’ misogyny detection spinning into an out-of-control dither.

Zero Boss: relax, man. Maybe spend some quality one-handed surfing time digging up some new “erotica.” Leave the ECW fans to their harmless appreciation of scripted storylines, women in bikinis, and the occasional wrestling match worthy of being called extreme.

In other news, 20-year-old Barbie Blank continues to make a phenomenally good living traveling the world and exploiting the public’s love of scantily clad women and professional wrestling. Barbie Blank, you’re a true feminist icon.

[…] folks over on the Extreme Championship Wrestling blog think I should ease up on professional wrestling (which is “professional” in the same sense that soap operas are “art”). […]
