Kelly Kelly Leaves ECW for Raw

Mickie James announced Monday night that Kelly Kelly is now the newest Raw diva. No draft, no fanfare, no explanation: she’s just a Raw diva now.
Why do they even bother with the yearly WWE draft? I mean, I know it creates buzz and the occasional controversy, but what’s really the point if the writers are going to shuffle the rosters any time they want?
Now, don’t get me wrong. I think it’s a well-deserved move, and a necessary one if WWE management intends to give Kelly Kelly her much rumored push. It also paves the way for Barbie Blank to become the next WWE star to pose for Playboy in 2009.
The ECW roster is looking a little diva-light now that Kelly and Layla have moved on from the third-tier brand. Are we looking at a push for Lena Yada or Tiffany, an opportunity for a new diva to step into the spotlight, or could we see a more seasoned diva move to ECW to help the Tuesday night ratings?

it sux kelly is leavin ecw……if they wanted her in playboy..they shudve done the promo of first ecw diva.i believe their real reason is bcause of their kid friendly scheme..which i dont get cuz the ratings have bin slipping since theyve tried this and that the main age viewership is 18-34…who generally do tend to notice divas and prefer them to be the way they were in the early 2000’s with all the competitions and shit

What a joke, right? ECW should be the last brand to go “kid friendly.” I agree that keeping Kelly in ECW and having her do Playboy would have been a better move - more attention for the least popular WWE brand.
Still, with ECW being just a one hour show, there really isn’t time to use the divas to their fullest potential. They really need to bump it up to 2 hours like TNA did. And by the way, the TNA Women’s Division matches are getting better all the time. Definitely worth a second look if you haven’t been tuning in.

I still dont get extreme in ecw yet…its very rare to see an extreme match there anywayz..and sci-fi besides ecw is not entirely known to show cartoon and family shows is it…maybe adding the hour will work for them as they can open up and be more free with what theyre doing..The Divas in WWE these days make no sense to me..they are eye candy yet rarely promote themselves in that way and are made to wrestle without being entirely prepared..the TNA Knockouts are very impressice with their stuff..and hve really developped since the repetitive awesome kong - gail kim saga..Besides the divas if anyone has noticed that almost all the ‘originals’ besides Tommy Dreamer that came when ecw restarted in 2006 have left..Ecw is now truly an empty show..oh yea and by the way i have found barbie blank on facebook…to comnfirm its her i checked her pictures and found out she has many more recent pictures on her facebook and they aren’t fan photos

Yeah, the ECW originals are mostly gone. Stevie Richards is still around, but he’ll be wrestling on Smackdown this week. It’s like there’s no point to having the ECW brand at all. Which, I guess, is what Vince really wants.
Thanks for the tip about Barbie Blank on Facebook - I guess I’ll have to break down and create a FB account so I can check it out.

I can give you a link on that…anywayz continuin on this..the question is….when ecw was threatened to be shutdown why did vince even bother if he wanted to get rid of all the good wrestlers and the originals and eventually take away the most popular diva which will drop their rating considerably…Does vince want ECW’s Destruction
the link is.. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1192837580&ref=ts
you have to add her to view her profile but i saved you time lookin for ages on the search and the surprisin thing is..i dint try to find her..i just found her on one of frnds group on facebook..he made me officer which makes me aware who joins and who doesn’t
Another tip…Barbie Blank’s Sister Mary is also on facebook under 2 different accounts which were both with Barbie’s friendship list until just yesterday when she got rid of 1..altho tht 1 seems more like to be the real one..she has pictures of herself with barbie quite often and im pretty sure at times they are around the same social group..
