Christa Campbell, this week’s gorgeous sci-fi starlet, got bored with modeling and decided to give acting a try. Since then, she’s become an accomplished actress and renowned scream queen.

After landing her first steady work in Erotic Confessions on Skinemax back in the ’90s, Christa Campbell has gone on to appear in dozens of films including The Wicker Man, Death by Engagement, and the Sci-Fi Channel original films Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep, The Black Hole, and Mansquito. She also shared the screen with Robert Englund in the B-movie spoof 2001 Maniacs and will reprise her role in next year’s 2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys.

Christa currently has more than 10 films (mostly horror flicks) in post-production, so she’ll be one to watch in the coming year in films like George Romero’s upcoming Day of the Dead.
